"This excellent B&B is well deserving of its 5 star rating on Trip Advisor. As you enter the house,an old farmhouse moved and rebuilt from Sussex, you enter a world of peace and tranquillity,it is beautifully furnished, lots of oak and spotlessly clean.Homemade cakes await you in the bedrooms, each of which has a small fridge where "real" milk is provided for that essential cuppa. The beds are extremely comfortable,I know because I,ve stayed in all three rooms during many visits, and the bathrooms have everything you could possibly require.Breakfast is an experience you won't forget in a hurry, such a range of options and all delicious.Sue is a charming hostess and takes pride in providing an experience you'll remember for a long time."
"We only stayed one night as a brief stop-over for a family party but wish we had more time. We got a warm welcome, rooms were made up beautifully, and homemade cake was left for us. Unfortunately we had to dash straight out again for our party, otherwise it would have been lovely to sit & drink tea & eat cake whilst watching the sea. On our return, the rooms were warm & the beds comfy. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked, we were also presented with scones which we could take away for elevenses - don't comehere if you are watching your weight! There are no bad points, a genuinely lovely hotel."
"We have stayed here several times now but I have only just found this on tripadvisor. I didn't realise it was Saint Mary in the Marsh.
Anyway the B and B is lovely. On arrival the couple are so polite. Once we got stuck on the M25 and couldn't check in till late. My husband's parents went and collected the key (they live near by) and on entering we found a trail of post it notes leading to our room :) There area always nice fresh cakes on arrival and the four poster room is amazing! Breakfast is one of the best I have ever had, everything is home made and just delicious. I plan to return over and over again."
